D&D- Gage Park Love with Lisa & Mike

Congrats on your engagement Lisa & Mike! One of the biggest compliments I can receive from my clients, is a repeat visit; it's so incredibly humbling. This session was the third time I had the opportunity to work with Lisa and it was the most special of all! Dave & I are so happy we were able to photograph this milestone in life for you two and that we will be apart of your speical day next year too!

What a crazy beautiful day we were given at Gage Park in Hamilton. We are so excited to finally share some of these romantic pictures with you two. Enjoy! Soak up the love!

Lifestyle Portraits with Chris!

I'm just catching up on posting work from early this fall. It's not often I get to do lifestyle portraits, as I spend a lot of time in the studio doing Head Shots, so this one on one work being on location was refreshing. Chris and I had a great time walking around Downtown Burlington working on his new business image for various aspects of his business, and I think they turned out great. So many great colours and reflections to play off of.

All the best with your business endeavors Chris!

Happy Birthday Be!

I'm back! I took a long break from the blog with my wedding (I'm officially Mrs.Carruthers now!) and catching up after a busy summer...and how appropriate that I start back with a post about my home away from home Be Yoga & Wellness!

I work at this studio once a week, I love it here and wanted to share a collection of some of my favourite images, that I feel really show the life and vibrancy of this space in celebration of their birthday.

Join us this Saturday for Be's Birthday with FREE YOGA and a celebration of the community!

Namaste*,

*From good ol' Wikipedia Namaste definition: Namaste is derived from Sanskrit and is a combination of two words, "Namaḥ" and "te". Namaḥ means 'bow', 'obeisance', 'reverential salutation' or 'adoration'[2] and te means 'to you'. Therefore, Namaste literally means "salutations to you".
