Yay, congrats David & Carolyn! I was so happy to hear (and be one of the first to know) that you guys were expecting. When you came to me and told me that you found this idea, I was super excited to execute it for you! Those little red TOMS shoes just pop so perfectly against your the greys and blues and I think it was an incredible way to share your news with your family and friends. I think little baby Sidenberg will also love to look back and see these photos one day, after all, that's what it's all about, creating memories to preserve for lifetimes.

Welcome Baby Mason!! Congrats Taryn & Josh. Isn't my (third)cousin, just the sweetest little thing! Such a little man, and that blond hair and blue eyes are just too cute for words. I'm in love.

My favourite part about the session was that he gave me a peace symbol on the way out, hehe. Such a hip kid already, I just can't wait to get to know him over the years.

Happy New Year DS Photography Friends!! Going through the archives, I thought showing some New Life shots from last year for my first post of 2013 seemed so suited, as the new year brings a sense of new breathe and a chance for us to bring new life to our thoughts and ambitions.

Also, how adorable is little baby Raya with her beautiful Mama and brother to be?! I can't believe Dax (the baby in the belly!) is almost a year old now.....oh how time flies! I must say though, the last shot of Mama might just be my favourite of them all, as it's just so natural and is a perfect example how beautiful the female body truly is.

I have a lot of new life sessions scheduled for the next few months so stay tuned for many more belly's and babies. Happy 2013, Di
