A Dress For Everbody, Breast Cancer Foundraiser -By Di & Dave Photography

My partner in crime, Dave Carruthers and I, photographed this Breast Cancer fundraiser event for my good friend Brock Stacey (see Brock above in center of photograph).

Brock, with his friends and family, put together this awesome fashion show event for the Juravinski Cancer Foundation. All the brave cancer survivors got dolled up, compliments of Joelle's and The Oyster, and strutted their stuff down the SB Prime Runway. There was music by Alicia Hush, Carly- Jo and more. This event raised over $11,000, absolutely amazing, congrats Brock!! Also a special thanks to Fielding Dental and all the other amazing sponsors.

ADAC Internship Program did a profile on yours truly :)

Back in 2006 after recently graduating from Ryerson University with a BFA majoring in photographic studies I was looking into all sort of options. In my research, I found The Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC). I submitted and was chosen for The Visual Arts Internship Program and did an 8 month paid intership placement at PRIME Gallery. This is an amazing program for recent BFA graduates to get their foot in the door. This experience gave me so much knowledge for my own business!

My Nephew Tayyib & Family! 4 days old!

Proud Auntie Di Di wanted to share her photos with you! We welcomed baby Tayyib to our family Wednesday November 4th, 2009 and these photos were taken 4 days later. Congrats to my bro Geoff and his wife Tasnuva and big sister Joy for this perfect baby boy. Tayyib, means pure, and it so pure and beautiful he is!

My boyfriend Dave and I (the cute couple in the bottom photo :) brought the studio kit to my brothers home in St.Catherine's on Sunday....home service! I bought my niece and nephew matching dinosaur shirts and wanted to capture them right away. The first of many photo sessions!

Next time we will meet at my larger studio space and get some beautiful photos of Mom and Tayyib too.

Fall fun with Brenda, Kal & Nora!

Brenda, Kal & Norah, I had a great morning with you! I am so happy that we had a nice fall day; quite similar to our last session together when Norah was still a baby! I think the best photo of the day might be the grumpy face Norah gave me when she was hanging off the railing at the lookout. This picture makes me laugh so much! Your daughter is beautiful and has so much spunk!
