Every once in a while I get a call to do something different, and I say different because it's not portrait photography! Beryl Fox called me a few weeks ago to help her photograph this old wooden sculpture that a local gallery is interested in trying to sell for her. She believes this hundred year old sculpture is based on the drawing seen in the second image from a french history book. I was amazed at how much fun I had capturing the movement and details of the art. Usually, I prefer to work subjects that can move and react for me!
I learned to photograph art works from Sean Weaver at the
AGO when I did an internship there in 2005. Since, I have photographed a few local artists work and some original pieces for the
RBG. If you need reproduction done of your art work or are trying to sell something online, please contact me and I would love to help you out.
Also, if you're interested in purchasing this piece, please email me and I will set you up with Beryl Fox.
